Loads of new snow and lots more falling through the day.
Here’s a pic showing what I was trying to descibe in the last post.
Joined by Al and Paul we had a great first day in the Morzine/Les Gets area warming them up on the blues and tackling the lower altitude reds as the visibility wasn’t great, and the light was very flat. Lots of low cloud like fog and constant snow meant that the snow was heavy to ski on and we were very wet by the end of the day. Despite this we still managed 30k and enjoyed all of it!
The weather is supposed to lift tonight so visibility should be better tomorrow and we can tackle some of the higher reds and maybe some blacks too.
It is great to welcome the guys to Morzine and Andy arrives tomorrow too.
